Margaret Ann Dimond Supports Dog Rescues and Community Organizations

About Margaret Ann Dimond

Supporting a number of canine-friendly causes, Margaret Ann Dimond has fostered more than 45 dogs that now have homes. Initially involved with a basset hound rescue organization in Michigan, she participated as a foster parent and assisted with the Basset Waddle, an annual fundraiser in Birmingham that contributes to the success of the organization. In addition, Margaret Ann Dimond has worked with Golden Retriever Rescue of Michigan and the Humane Society, and she served as a board member of Leader Dogs for the Blind.

Though she focuses her energy primarily on canine rescue causes, Ms. Dimond finds time for other community organizations as well, including Gleaners Community Food Bank of Southeastern Michigan, Holy Name School, and the Cub Scouts. She was also on the board of Great Oaks Country Club and assisted in expanding women’s golf activities. In her spare time, she enjoys listening to audio books, traveling, and cooking Italian food.
